SUMMARY:October 14th Community Planting - Grange Road Park
DESCRIPTION:  \nClick here for a map showing how to get to the planting site: TFG_Grange \nJoin the whole crew from Trees for Guelph between 9:30 and 12:30 for Community Planting Days. We plant rain or shine or (hopefully not) snow. This is an all ages event. \nRegister on site on the day at the welcome table. \nWe ask that you bring your own water bottle and gardening gloves. If you have a favourite shovel\, bring that too! If you don’t have gear…DON’T WORRY\, we have some you can borrow. \nWe recommend sturdy footwear and layers of clothing that are comfortable to work and have fun in. \nWith planting demonstrations happening continuously throughout the morning\, come for as little or as long as you can. Learn all the techniques to plant for high survival rates. \nAre you a high school students wanting volunteer hours? Make sure to bring your log sheet so we can record your efforts. \nWe cannot do this without the incredibly generous support from our partners including the City of Guelph\, Grand River Conservation Authority\, TD Friends of the Environment\, Copernicus Education Products\, The Modern Bride\, Johnson & Johnson\, Rotary Club of Guelph South\, Pollination Guelph\, Royal City Brewing\, Home Depot\, Rona\, Guelph Building Supply\, Upper Grand District School Board and Wellington Catholic District School Board. \n  \nClick here for a map showing how to get to the planting site: TFG_Grange
