SUMMARY:Riverside Park Tree Planting
DESCRIPTION:This is an all-ages  –  no previous experience required – rain or shine – free event. \nBring a friend or your whole family. Drop by for as long as you can. Plant one tree or plant more. \nPlanting demonstrations run continuously throughout the planting sessions so come for as little or as long as you can. Learn all the techniques to plant for high survival rates. \nWe will have all the plants\, shovels\, buckets\, water and mulch. \nWe recommend dressing in layers with sturdy footwear\, long pants and high socks. Please bring your own large refillable water bottle and garden gloves if you dislike the feeling of a little soil under your finger nails. \nHigh school students looking for volunteer hours are invited to bring their log sheet to any Saturday plant. Check in at the registration table.
