DESCRIPTION:The cooler weather is great for planting trees and shrubs. Rain or shine\, we will have lots of plants and all the tools to plant a baby forest. Many hands make light work. \nThis is an all ages event. Help transform the urban canopy in your neighbourhood. Come for an hour or stay the whole time. Please dress in layers with sturdy footwear. DESCRIPTION:This is the last community planting day of 2026 with Trees for Guelph. \nBring your friends and family out in the beautiful fresh autumn air to plant native trees and shrubs as we wrap up season 36. \nThis is an all ages no previous experience required event. \nStart with a short planting demonstration to ensure all the plants have their own great start. \nPlants\, shovels\, buckets\, water and mulch are provided. \nDress for the weather in layers\, long pants\, high socks and sturdy footwear. Bring your refillable water bottle and a snack. \nHigh school students can earn volunteer hours. \nMore details to come.
