President – Lisa Mactaggart, BLA, OALA, CSLA, ASLA, IFLA
Lisa Mactaggart is a landscape architect and graduate of the University of Toronto. She is the principal landscape architect of Arium Design Group and senior landscape architect of Brown and Storey Architects and the Office for Responsive Environments.
Lisa joined the Board of Trees for Guelph in 2018.

Vice-President – Martin Litchfield
Martin Litchfield is a retired Registered Professional Forester. He completed a Bsc Forestry at the University of New Brunswick. He worked as a senior manager in both forest industry and the Ministry of Natural Resources in roles across Canada. He is an environmental sustainability consultant.
Treasurer – John Holman
John Holman is the treasurer of Trees for Guelph.
Secretary – Anne Holman
Anne Holman is a retired secondary school teacher of environmental science. In addition to being the secretary for Trees for Guelph, she is an active volunteer at the River Run Centre, the Guelph Civic Museum, St. Andrew’s Church, Chantry Island tour guides and St. Joseph’s Health Centre.
She helped Trees for Guelph develop the school planting program connecting students with planting projects in the industrial areas.
Director – Martin Neuman
Lifelong local, retired from forestry/arborist career in urban and watershed forestry, habitat restoration, and parks/conservation lands management. Co-founder and past president of Trees for Guelph.
Director – Bill Gaines
Bill Gaines is a husband, father and grandfather. After graduating from Sir Sandford Fleming College as a Forest Technician and a Parks and Recreation Technologist he worked at Bronte Creek Provincial Park, Conservation Halton and the Region of Halton. He served on the board of the Halton / Peel Stewardship Council and represented Halton on the Natural Heritage Advisory Committee and the Halton Solid Waste Advisory Committee. He represents Tree for Guelph on the City of Guelph, Urban Forest Management Plan Strategy Working Group
Bill brings over 40 years of community tree planting experience to Trees for Guelph
Director – Carolyn Weatherson
Carolyn Weatherson is a mother, owner of Maha Pura Yoga and former president of the Rotary Club. She brings with her an extensive history of involvement with many different environmental committees and now lends this wealth of experience to Trees for Guelph.
