April 27th Community Planting – Hanlon Creek Forest

April 27 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

Join us to plant a new forest in Guelph and enjoy an Environmental Fair near Earth Day

This event will run between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM for Community Planting Days. We plant rain or shine or (hopefully not) snow. This is an all ages event.

Parking (including for bikes), Site Access, and Environmental Fair at 335 Laird Road

Everyone is welcome. Bring a friend or your whole family. Drop by for as long as you can. Plant one tree or plant them all. Planting technique demonstrations run continuously throughout the planting sessions so come for as little or as long as you can. Learn all the techniques to plant for high survival rates.

Register on site on the day at the welcome table or RSVP on our social media events page.

High school students looking for volunteer hours are invited to bring their log sheet to any Saturday plant.

Without our partners and financial supporters all this exciting work would not happen.  The City of Guelph’s support is fundamental to the success of TREES FOR GUELPH and we are a participant in the City’s Urban Forest Management initiative. The Modern Bride, Johnson & Johnson, Copernicus Education Products, TD Friends of the Environment, Royal City Brewing, Royal City Tree Service, Rotary Clubs of Guelph and Guelph South, Pollination Guelph, RWDI, Rona, Guelph Building Supply, Stantec, Grand River Conservation Authority, Upper Grand District School Board and Wellington Catholic District School Board have all played major roles in the continuing support of our programs.
