Riverside Park Community Planting Day

We are back at Riverside Park on May 2 for our second community planting day of 2026.
This is an all ages no previous experience required event. Start with a short planting demonstration to ensure all the plants have their own great start.
Plant native trees and shrubs with your friends and family to celebrate the end of winter in our beautiful city.
Enter from Woodlawn Road.
Plants, shovels, buckets, water and mulch are provided.
Dress for the weather in layers, long pants, high socks and sturdy footwear. Bring your refillable water bottle and a snack.
High school students can earn volunteer hours.
