2022 was our best planting season ever.
We engaged with 25 Guelph schools. Over 7,500 volunteers participated. Conducted planting programmes at more 30 different sites in Guelph. More than 7000 woody plants went into the ground.
As the 2022 planting program ended and all the numbers were tallied up, James Taylor made the decision to transition into the role of past president. Lisa Mactaggart is honoured to represent Trees for Guelph as the president. We are pleased to announce our Earth Day kick-off to our annual planting season. Join us starting at 9:00 am at the Kortright Hills Natural Are site (locational map attached). Our 2019 program is supported by our major partners including the City of Guelph, Copernicus Educational Products, The Modern Bride, Home Depot, Rona, Grand River Conservation Authority, the Upper Grand District and the Wellington Catholic District School Board. Trees for Guelph is pleased to announce the start of our 2018 Planting Program. Winter caused a delay but now we are assured that Spring will be here next Monday!
Our new project launch location and date will be Willow Road Public School, 125 Willow Road (access from Applewood off Willow) on Monday, April 23th at 11am. We will be joined by our school children planters, neighbourhood volunteers, City officials, and our supporting partners… (read more).
